ANDIJAN
ENGINEERING-ECONOMIC INSTITUTE
In
June 5, 1995, according to decree 211 of the Cabinet of Ministers
"About specifying the system of Higher Education of Republic
of Uzbekistan" Andijon Institute of Engineering & Economy
was established on the base of Andijan Institute of Economy
& Management & Experimental Center preparing engineers
as well.

There
are 3 full-time and 2 correspondence departments in the institute.
Economics faculty, established in June 1991 on the base of
full-time & evening departments of the Institute, is called
Economics since September 1996. Nowadays more than 550 students
study at this faculty.
Management
faculty was established in July 1993, as a result of division
of full-time department into Management & Account economist
faculties.
There
are: Management Forming branches & Marketing & Finance
specifications in the staff of department.
In the
Engineering faculty 756 students study, 452 of them are in
full-time department within 4 fields & 6 specifications,
304 of them are in correspondence department within 4 fields
& 5 specifications.
Centre,
raising the level of qualification & training of personnel
has been working at the Institute since April 1, 1999. In
this Center Institutions, Academic Lycees & vocational
colleges' teachers of Fergana region & economists working
in organizations as well improve their qualification.
In May
13, 1998 according to decree 204 of the Cabinet of Ministers
of Uzbekistan & decree 192, adopted by the Ministry of
Higher & Secondary Education, Academic Lycee was established
on the basis of Lycee boarding school, which is under the
Andijan Institute of engineering & economy.
In
the present. Academic Lycee works in 3 directions:
economics,
physics & mathematics, history & geography. 11 candidates,
24 qualified, 15 1-qualified teachers are teaching students.
The
main purpose of Business school is to progress small &
medium businesses in the villages, to attract young people's
attention for business, to give enough knowledge for them,
along with social protection preparing specialists of business
making in marketing.
The
main duty of the Institute's library is to recommend political,
scientific literature to the readers. So, the library serves
as the scientific center for students, teachers & professors.
During 1998-99, the library was filled with more than 10500
new books & scientific literature.
The
themes of scientific works, realising in the Institute, are
accomodated to "Consolidation of Andijon's macroeconomy &
the problem of improving the economical development". Relations
between foreign countries are progressing deeply. In 1996-98
professor-teachers improved their experiences in foreign countries
such as Great Britain, Italy & Germany.
